Keith Hamilton was a Union Township trustee for 17 years
R. Keith Hamilton, 78, died Feb. 7, 2021, at Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton. Keith was born January 9, 1943, in Bluffton to the late Raymond and Ruth (Jordan) Hamilton. On March 26, 1966, he married Sharon Powell Hamilton who survives.
Keith was a 1961 graduate of Cory-Rawson High School. He was a life-long farmer retiring in 2005. Keith was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church in Rawson where he was currently a trustee. He was a Union Township trustee for 17 years. Keith was a member of the Mt. Cory Masonic Lodge #418, the Bluffton Senior Citizens and the Northwest Ohio Antique Machinery Association.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Hamilton of Bluffton; a son, Barry (Bonnie) Hamilton of Bluffton; three grandchildren, Brittan (Amanda) Hamilton of Cairo, Breanne (Mir Ali) Hamilton of Chicago, Illinois, Brielle Hamilton of Bluffton; two great-grandchildren, Grayson and Olivia Hamilton; a sister, Karen (David) Bower of Jenera; two nephews, Andy Bower of Jenera, Brian (Daphne) Bower of Jenera and his grand-dog, Brownie.
Private visitation and service will be held at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton. Pastor Ben Lowell officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery - Mt. Cory.
