Waterford Hotel Group to manage ONU’s The Inn
Ohio Northern University has announced that hospitality corporation Waterford Hotel Group is now handling management of The Inn at Ohio Northern University, 401 W. College Ave. The transition took place on Jan. 18.
Waterford Hotel Group, a Connecticut-based industry leader for more than 30 years, manages 36 hotels in nine states, such as a Westin in Columbus and a Comfort Inn in Piqua and on college campuses such as Amherst College, Williams College and Gettysburg College.
Kollin Hanes, a Findlay native, will serve as task force general manager. Hanes joined the hotel group in 2019 as the Westin Columbus operations manager before being promoted to a task force operations manager. He has led several properties in Massachusetts, including The Williams Inn on the campus of Williams College.
ONU continues to be the sole owner of The Inn, that opened in 2008 offering 67 guest rooms, a pub, 3,000 square-feet of meeting space, a 24-hour fitness center and a courtyard garden with a furnished patio.
According to the announcement from ONU: “The University believes the management transition to the Waterford Hotel Group will facilitate profitability and visibility while sustaining customary high quality and service to customers.”
