Area congregations observe Ash Wednesday
The season of Lent in the Christian year is observed by several area congregations with Ash Wednesday services on Wednesday, Feb. 17.
Bluffton Presbyterian Church

A six-week Lenten study using the book, Made for a Miracle, by Mike Slaughter, will be available via Zoom. The study begins Sunday, Feb. 21. Persons interested in participating call the church at 419-358-5641.

Mt. Cory and Pleasant View United Methodist Churches
Time of prayer, reflection and receiving of ashes in the Pleasant View sanctuary, 300 Township Road 37, Bluffton, from 7 to 8 p.m. with Pastor Mike Noggle present to pray with participants and for the imposition of ashes. Persons may attend at any time during the hour.
Trinity Lutheran Church, Jenera
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 N. Main St., Jenera, service at 7 p.m. There will be no midweek Lenten services, but Trinity will have Holy Week services on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, also at 7 p.m.
