Still time to sign up for book self publishing event
Bluffton author Fred Steiner will lead a discussion on “Making It a Book” at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in an online program hosted by the Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs (BCE).
Steiner will walk through the process of self publishing from manuscript to printed copies. After a 30-minute interview is recorded for YouTube, Steiner will take questions from online guests.
The program will cover:
• What is your book idea?
• What is the purpose of your book?
• Identifying your audience
• Book title, introduction, endorsements, cover design
• Finding a publisher
• Book promotion
A print and digital journalist, Steiner publishes the online news source BlufftonIcon.com and has three titles in print:
• Bluffton Anthology: Essays on a small Ohio town,
• The Bluffton We Never Knew: Photographs from our first half century: 1861-1911, and
• A Good Place to Miss: Bluffton Stories 1900-1975.
