Take a look at what's happening in March at BHS
Several activities are underway this month at Bluffton High School. Here is a summary from the school website:
Audition for the musical Dr. Dolittle will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. The sign-up sheet and try out information is outside of the choir room. The musical will be performed outdoors, June 4 through 6.
A track and field sign-up sheet IS in the office for any student interested in being on the track team. Track practice begins on Monday, March 8, in the high school gym after school. Participants must have an up to date physical on PRIVIT ahead of time.
Any boy interested in playing tennis this spring should sign-up in the office this week.
Sophomores who signed up to take the ACT will take it Tuesday, March 2, in the high school library.
Renaissance students interested in attending a movie on Tuesday, March 16, at the Shannon Theater need to sign up on Wednesday or Thursday during lunch in the cafeteria. The cost is $3. There will be a morning and an afternoon session with only 72 students permitted each session. Sign-ups are on a first-come first-serve basis since there is limited seating.
Jostens will be at the high school on Thursday, March 11, from 7:45 to 8:05 a.m. in the cafeteria to drop off senior orders for graduation. Senior caps and gowns will be distributed in May.
Apollo students will receive their order on March 12 at Apollo, other than the caps and gowns, which will be distributed in May.
The 2020-21 yearbooks are now being sold online. The cost is $55. Click on this link to order: https://www.balfour.com/student-info?smi=57919 The yearbook will be printed in the summer and then available in August.
