Village will continue with Anthem BC/BC
Bluffton council's approved a recommendation from its insurance committee to continue its employee insurance agreement with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield through April 30, 2022.
The action took place on March 8. Jerry Cupples said that Fortman Insurance provided six base rate quotes from competitive companies and the committee chose to remain with Anthem.
In other action, council set pay increases for village employees. Those are spelled out in the council packet attached to this story.
Council hired Rick Lichtle and Jewel Dukes as seasonal mowers. The village intends to add a third mower to the crew to work into a rotation mode.
Applications for positions at the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool for summer 2021 are now available at the town hall.

Bluffton in Bloom Committee – Tuesday, 3/16 at 7 p.m.
Personnel Committee – Thursday, 3/18 at noon, via Zoom.
Parks & Recreation Committee – Thursday, 3/18 at 1 p.m., via Zoom.
Council Meeting – Monday, 3/22 at 7 p.m.
