Alfred A. Hohenbrink was a farmer and truck driver
Alfred A. Hohenbrink, 95, died March 17, 2021, at the Meadows of Ottawa. Alfred was born Aug. 31,1925 in Kalida, Ohio, to the late August and Philomena (Avery) Hohenbrink. He was married to Ruth Beutler Hohenbrink who survives in Pandora.
Alfred was a self-employed farmer and truck driver. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bluffton, the Ottawa Eagles #2234 and Moose Lodge #199 in Lima.
Survivors also include nine children, Don (Debra) Hohenbrink of Columbus Grove, William (Jean) Hohenbrink of Columbus Grove, Nancy Pidduck of Westlake Village, California, Mary (Ken) Albin of Richland, Washington, Larry (Cheryl) Hohenbrink of Columbus Grove, Diana (Jim) Dray of Bluffton, Sharon (Tom Moore) Hunt of Lexington, Kentucky, Barb (Tim Trulley) Wood of Lima, Dale (Rhonda) Hohenbrink of Columbus Grove; twenty grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
Alfred was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 22, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bluffton, with Father John McLoughlin officiating.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery - Beaverdam. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 -6 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton where a rosary service will take place at 5:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
