Maybelle Schifferely was 104
Maybelle Marion Schifferly, 104, died early Wednesday morning, March 17, 2021, at Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Maybelle was born June 17, 1916, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Edward and Elizabeth Schoonover. On Dec. 23, 1939. she married William Samuel Schifferly who preceded her in death on July 15, 1988.
Maybelle worked at Bluffton Hospital for eight years and was a homemaker who did child-care from her home. She was a member of the Bluffton Missionary Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Kay Neuenschwander of Kenton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Angie Dyer (Jim Morrison), Tiffany (Tim) Gallant, Joseph (Kelly Elkins) Neuenschwander; and ten grandchildren, Hunter, Izzabelle, Stella, Georgia and Emma (Angie), Katie Belle and Jonny (Tiffany) and Corey, Jaxon & Dalton (Joseph).
Maybelle was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Elizabeth Schifferly; a great-granddaughter, Sandy Sue Neuenschwander, as well as her six siblings.
The family has decided not to hold a memorial service but condolences may be expressed to Sandy Neuenschwander at 1002 East Columbus Street, Apt. D4, Kenton, Ohio 43326.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Chosen (studios.vidangel.com/thechosen) to help make Season 3 happen and Pay It Forward allowing others around the world to see the episodes for free.
