Liquidation merchandise store open on Main Street, Ada
FROM ADA ICON - Ada’s newest business, Pallet Girls, opened recently in the former Reichert’s storefront at 111-113 S. Main St., Ada.
Owners Michelle Pierce and Shane Downing, lifelong Ada residents, have had a “soft” opening as merchandise continues to fill the store.
“We feature liquidation merchandise,” Michelle told the Icon. “Our merchandise is from major realtors including Target, Sam’s Club and Walmart.”
“We purchase pallets of items. Nearly 98 percent includes new items,” she said. “We may have some return items that have boxes open.”
Most items are priced from 40 to 50 percent off retail.
“Our merchandise changes weekly,” she added. After starting in the liquidation business four years ago and operating from home, Michelle and Shane took the opportunity to move into the empty Reichert’s storefront.
“We offer everything from home goods, furniture, kitchen appliances, toys, bedding, rugs and patio furniture,” she said.
In addition the store offers boutique clothing for women and youth. It also offers a selection of Sam’s Club clothing for $6 each.
With nearly 4,000 Facebook followers, Pallet Girls will have live sales on its Facebook each Friday at 8 p.m. Persons may pick up their Facebook live purchases on Saturday.
The store’s Facebook is Ada Area Pallet Girls.
Store hours are:
Wednesdays – noon to 6 p.m.
Thursdays – noon to 6 p.m.
Fridays – noon to 8 p.m.
Saturdays – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A grand opening is slated for early April.
