The Lima Rotary Club will hold a reverse raffle at 6 p.m., Thursday, June 3, in the Youth Building at the Allen County Fairgrounds in honor of Jay Begg, the late Allen County Commissioner, and member of the Lima Rotary Club who chaired the club’s annual auction and was involved in many other events.

More than 300 people are expected to attend the Jay Begg Rotary Reverse Raffle, which is a major fundraiser for the Lima Rotary Foundation, as it  distributes thousands of dollars to local charities every year.

• $10,000 in cash will be awarded that night and there’ll be plenty of fun, games and auction items on which to bid.

• $100 ticket price includes participation in the reverse raffle and dinner.

• $25 tickets are available which include the dinner, auction and games, but not participation in the reverse raffle.

• Many local businesses have donated items to be auctioned that night.
