LIMA - The visiting Bluffton tennis team nipped Lima Senior 3-2 Thursday evening.

Pirate senior Grant Klingler won his match at second singles 6-3, 6-0.

Pirate senior Thad Mittendorf also won handily at third singles by a 6-1, 6-0 count.

Bluffton sophomores Braeden Ackerman and Eli Wenger triumphed at second doubles 6-2, 6-3.

Pirate junior Luke Shadle lost at first singles after splitting the first two sets 3-6, 6-3. He then lost a 10-9 tiebreaker in lieu of playing a full thord set.

The Bluffton tandem of junior Bryan Zimmerman and senior Conner Lee lost 6-2, 6-2 at first doubles.

Div. II sectional play is May 13/16 at UNOH.
