Nope, it's not a normal Saturday in Bluffton
A music-themed Discovery Day with outdoor activities and a Bluffton Bucks prize drawing will be hosted by Bluffton businesses on Saturday, June 26.
The village’s downtown district along Main Street has more than 60 shops, services and restaurants. Bluffton also hosts a Saturday morning Bluffton Cars & Coffee gathering and the Bluffton Farmers Market.
“This is an event that spotlights our local businesses and organizations,” explains Paula Scott, Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce CEO. “The village has a fantastic variety within a few blocks, making it a wonderful place to visit on a Saturday, whether you want to relax or do some serious shopping.”
At noon, the Bluffton Presbyterian Church, 112 N Main, will dedicate a new gazebo. A brass band concert and ribbon cutting are part of the ceremonies.
Activities at Beacon Life Ministries, 125 N. Main St., will include indoor pop-up shops and outdoor kids’s karaoke, face painting and gospel artist Tom Treece. Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main St., will distribute music activity kits for all ages.
Bluffton Cars & Coffee takes place at Masterpiece Signs and Graphics at 902 N. Main St., from 8-11 a.m. The Bluffton Farmers Market is located next to Citizens National Bank at 102 S. Main and is open from 8:30 a.m.-noon.
A dozen businesses are distributing tickets for the prize drawing.
Shoppers earn one ticket for every $10 spent. Three tickets will be drawn for prizes of $100, $80, and $70 in “Bluffton Bucks,” gift certificates that can be spent at Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce member businesses.
