Russel Suter was an owner of Suter Strawberry Farm
Russel V. Suter, age 93, died at 9:07 pm August 24, 2021, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
Russel was born November 4, 1927 in Columbus Grove, OH, to the late Harry and Lydia (Lugibihil) Suter. On August 28, 1948 he married Jean Diller who preceded him in death on May 11, 2010.
Mr. Suter was a retired farmer and owner of Suter Strawberry Farm. He was an active member of Grace Mennonite Church of Pandora. Russel was a graduate of Pandora High School and attended The Ohio State University. He enjoyed his family, reading and had various hobbies including woodworking and flying remote control model airplanes.
He is survived by a son, Ron (Mary) Suter of Pandora; two daughters Judy (Jerry Meluch) Burkholder of Columbus and Jenetha (Dana) Lugibihil of Sebastian, FL; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Nancy) Suter of St. Charles, MO, and a sister, Agnes (Richard) Berky of Cedar Falls, IA.
In addition to his parents and wife he is preceded in death by two Brothers, Wilmer Suter and Gene Suter.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Pandora.
