Dorothy Beach was 1950 graduate of Arlington High School
Dorothy J. Beach, 88 of Jenera passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021. She was born on November 11, 1932 to the late Clarence C. and Pearl M. (Rettig) Rausch. Dorothy married Howard J. Beach on May 2, 1954 and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2018.
Surviving are three sons; David P. (Shirley) Beach of Tampa, FL, Wayne E. (Rinda) Beach of Wapakoneta, Edward J. Beach of Lakeland, FL and a daughter, M. Jane (Edward) Amstutz of Bluffton. She is also survived by her sister, Doris (Alan) Schueren of Perrysburg, eight grandchildren; Jacob Amstutz, Keri McCreary, Alex Beach, Joseph Amstutz, Kayla Beach, Krista South, Andy Beach, Ashley Bryant and ten great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was a 1950 graduate of Arlington High School and a life-long member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera. Family was a high priority for Dorothy and she loved spending time with them.
Visitation for Mrs. Beach will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Crates Funeral Home, Arlington. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., prior to the service with Pastor Matt Nowak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Dorothy to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 Main St, Jenera, OH 45841.
