Bluffton University senior Dalton Taynor (Troy/Miami East) has been named the Heartland Conference men's soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Taynor netted three of Bluffton's four goals last week. He scored the only Beaver goal in a 4-1 loss at Wooster on Tuesday and followed that up with two of Bluffton's tallies in a 3-1 win at Moody Bible on Saturday in Chicago. The talented forward finished the week with six points on eight shots and is currently the Heartland Conference leader with nine goals this season.

Bluffton will kick off its 2021 fall Heartland Conference slate on Wednesday, Sept. 29, when rival Defiance College travels to the Sears Complex. Match time is slated for 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
