Fall sales for Bluffton Bread Company begin
Fall sales for the Bluffton Bread Company, a Bluffton University student program, will run Oct. 1-Nov. 25. Two flavors are for sale:
Pumpkin, $8. "Filled with a warm blend of cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, this spice-filled pumpkin bread will make you feel like you are in the middle of a perfect fall day any time of year. Topped with a decadent New York style crumb topping of cinnamon, butter and cake flour, our pumpkin bread is the perfect treat to share with family and friends."
Applesauce Oatmeal Cinnamon, $12. "What says fall more than apple cider and cinnamon? Our applesauce cinnamon bread includes applesauce produced in-house from local apples. The buttery crunch from the oatmeal topping and the seasonal flavor makes this bread one of our favorite specialty breads."
Customers can either pick up orders from 8 a.m. to noon, Monday-Friday, at Berky Hall, room 14, or have them shipped for an additional cost.
Bread production gives Bluffton University students hansd-on learning experience from developing and standardizing recipes to streamlining the online shopping cart.
