Judith Ann Kiracofe graduated from Bluffton High School
Judith Ann Kiracofe, 74, passed away October 9, 2021 Mercy Health-St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Judy was born June 5, 1947 in Bluffton to the late Earl and Josephine (White) Cheney. On January 7, 1967 she married Jerry Kiracofe who preceded her in death on September 2, 2020.
Judy was a graduate of Bluffton High School. She was a homemaker. Her and her husband, Jerry had owned and operated the Lazy Circle J Ranch, J and J Pet Store, Grammy and Grampy's Place and Kiracofe's Lawn and Garden. Judy was a member of the Ohio State Rabbit Breeders, the Florida White Breeders and the VFW in Columbus Grove. Judy enjoyed crafting, crocheting, painting and fishing.
Survivors include four children, Jim (Misty) Kiracofe of Lafayette, Indiana, Janette (Steve) Steiner of Lima, Scott (Stephanie) Kiracofe of Rockport, Justin (Danyelle) Kiracofe of Bluffton; thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Kenny (Penny) Cheney of Calumet, Michigan, Daniel (Dave Miklos) Cheney of Venice, Florida; and two sisters, Mary (Jerry) Kloeppel of Ada and Nancy (Chris) Cole of Venice, Florida.
Judy was preceded in death by two great-granddaughters.
Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 15, 2021 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton, with Pastor Joe Carl officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
