Bluffton plays just 27 holes at Capital Fall Classic
The Bluffton University men's golf team shot a 477 over 27 holes at the Capital Fall Classic on Monday, Oct. 11, 2021. The event at the Blacklick Golf Course scheduled for 36 holes was cut short due to darkness.
Leading the Beavers were a pair of juniors who checked in with scores of 115 on Monday. Clay Quellhorst (St. Marys/Memorial) and Nathan Eberle (Grove City) were a mere seven shots over par for the round and a half at Reynoldsburg. Eberle's score included a sparkling 36 for the nine holes in round two!
Seniors Dominic Castelvetere (Ontario) and Spencer Daniels (Ashland) went 123 and 124, respectively. Nick Offenburger (Lexington) rounded out the Bluffton five with a 138.
Bluffton will wrap up its 2021 fall slate with a trip to the Denison Fall Invitational this weekend. Round one kicks off on Saturday, Oct. 16.
