“Otherworldland” exhibit at Grace Albrecht Gallery
Bluffton University’s Grace Albrecht Gallery will host the art exhibit “Otherworldland” by Justin Henry Miller beginning Oct. 25.
The show features work created by Miller over the past five years in a diverse range of mediums including drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media and small sculpture. Aesthetically, Miller’s artwork can best be described as surreal as it references, but bends, reality. Conceptually, the work delves into his interest in the closing gap between science fiction and science fact.
Miller is currently a professor and area head of painting at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
The exhibit is free and open to the public through Dec. 5. Gallery hours in the Sauder Visual Arts Center are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 1-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
A reception for the artist will be held from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5.
