Timothy J. Babcock worked for Rite Aid
Timothy J. Babcock, 62, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Hilty Home in Pandora, OH. Tim was born on September 26, 1959 in Bowling Green, OH to Bernard and Annette (Turner) Babcock. He married Shannon Currier-Babcock on March 5, 1982.
Tim was a 1977 graduate of Napoleon High School and worked for Rite Aid Corporation for over 35 years. Tim enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, reading, and playing board games, puzzle books, and poker. He was an avid fan of detective fiction authors Agatha Christie and Rex Stout, and also loved watching football, classic westerns, James Bond films and the comedy sketches of Monty Python.
Tim is survived by his wife, Shannon Currier-Babcock; his parents, Bernard and Annette Babcock; two sisters, Christi (Nate) Bolton and Regina (Jack) Moore; four children, Lucas (Lindsey) Babcock, Andrew (Sarah) Hauenstein, Megan (Courtnee) Morris, and Jacob Babcock (Bethany Nye); six grandchildren as well as countless other family and friends.
A public viewing will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 5 at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home in Bluffton, OH.
A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 6 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Bluffton, OH with a shared meal to be served in the community room at Bluffton Town Hall following the service.
