Diann Kay Yoder was a registered nurse
Diann Kay Yoder, 81, passed away November 10, 2021 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. Diann was born April 29, 1940 in Decatur, Indiana to the late Milo and Inez (Luginbill) Habegger. On September 17, 1961 she married Alan Yoder.
Diann was a graduate of Berne-French High School, Berne, Indiana and received her nursing degree from the Lutheran School of Nursing in Ft. Wayne. She worked as a registered nurse at Indiana University Hospital and Bluffton Hospital. Diann later worked with her husband and son at Family Eye Care in Bluffton. She was a member of Ebenezer Mennonite Church, the Telesis Club, Gideon's Auxiliary and Reaching Women. Diann enjoyed playing bridge with the Women's Bridge Club and the Couple's Bridge Club. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, making candy for 50 years with her friends, traveling the world and spending her winters in Florida. Diann had a way of making all celebrations for her family and friends extra special. She cherished her family second only to her relationship with Jesus Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Alan Yoder of Bluffton; two sons, Mark (Julie) Yoder of Bluffton, Michael (Rebecca) Yoder of Indianapolis, Indiana; six grandchildren, Paul Yoder, David (Anna) Yoder, Rachel (Nathan) West, Austin (Sam) Yoder, Alec Yoder, Ashlyn Yoder; two great-grandchildren, Joy and Lucas Yoder and a sister, Marilyn Beaverson of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, Bluffton. Pastor Jim King officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bluffton-Pandora Youth for Christ, Mission Possible, Findlay or the Ebenezer Mennonite Church Mission Fund.
