Registration for Southgate Lanes tournament season begins
Southgate Lanes, 9700 N Dixie Hwy., is signing up bowlers for the first of 15 consecutive tournaments sponsored by Storm, a bowling balls, shoes, and clothing company. The 2:00 p.m., December 4 event is a Singles 9-pin No Tap tournament.
The entry fee is $30 (pre-registration $5). A $240 first place place prize plus any Storm ball of choice is guaranteed. Lane conditions: house oil pattern. Call 419-358-6966 or message Southgate Lanes Inc. on Facebook to sign up. The full schedule will be available at 1:00 p.m. on December 4.
One of the top brands in the industry, Storm provides equipment and apparel for the Southgate Lanes events. There will be 15 consecutive tournaments every Saturday, skipping Christmas and New Years. Points are handed out for participation and finishing position to determine who is the Southgate Lane Bowler of the Year.
