All about that Blaze (of Lights Parade 2021)
With Bluffton’s 35th annual Blaze of Lights celebrations coming up on Saturday, November 27, 2021, the Bluffton Icon will feature a series of “About about that Blaze” articles, beginning with the Blaze Parade.
Coordinator Junior Weihrauch will continue to accept entries through Saturday morning, November 27. Registered entries to date include the Bluffton High School marching band, baton corps, floats, and fire and EMS departments from Bluffton and the surrounding area.
Please leave a message at (419) 889-4315 to register your group or business. Provide the name of your entry, a contact person and cell phone number, as well as a description for the Blaze announcers.
Parade line-up will begin at 4 p.m. on Snider Rd. at N. Main St. near the Community Pool. The parade begins at 5 p.m. and ends on College Ave. south of Main.
The parade will be announced by Town Crier Kevin Gratz, who will also emcee the entertainment that follows at the Blaze stage in front of the Ream folk art display, which is located on the lawn of Bluffton Presbyterian Church, 112 N Main St. The lighting of the display takes place at 7 p.m.
