Bluffton HS swim team season opener
The Bluffton High School swim team coached by Rachel Diller and assistant coaches Bob Verb and Stephanie McMahon, started their 2021-22 season on Thursday, December 2 with a nonleague meet at the Putnam County YMCA, 101 Putnam Pkwy. The boys and girls rosters are attached to this article.
Teams competing at the meet were Bluffton, Ottawa Glandorf, Shawnee, Kalida, McComb, Miller City, and Pandora-Gilboa.
Winning individual Bluffton swimmers:
Allison Diller, 50 Freestyle
Xavier Diller, 50 Freestyle & 500 Freestyle
Riley Verb, 200 Freestyle & 100 Backstroke
Winning Bluffton relay teams:
200 Medley Relay: Riley Verb, Landon Armstrong, Tyler Cupples and Xavier Diller
200 Freestyle Relay: CJ McCall, Tyler Cupples, Jacob Lehman and Landon Armstrong
200 Medlay Relay: Jacob Lehman, Charles Wright and CJ McCall
The Bluffton boys team beat Kalida, McComb, Miller City, Pandora-Gilboa, tied OG, and lost to Shawnee.
The Bluffton girls team beat McComb, Pandora-Gilboa, Kalida, Miller City, and lost to OG and Shawnee.
