Connie Jo Neuenschwander was a nurse
Connie Jo Neuenschwander, 64, passed away January 23, 2022 at Lima Memorial Health System. Connie was born July 20, 1957 in Fostoria to the late Kenneth and Anna (Beck) Donaldson. On March 21, 1976 she married Jerry Neuenschwander and he survives.
Connie graduated from Bluffton High School. She was a nurse at Mennonite Memorial Home, Lima Memorial Hospital and Richland Manor. Connie was a member of the Beaverdam Church of Christ where she was a Sunday School teacher and was a former member of the Beaverdam-Richland EMS. She enjoyed gardening, her flowers but most of all her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Neuenschwander of Beaverdam; four children, Marcus (Gina) Neuenschwander of Beaverdam, Daniel Neuenschwander of Beaverdam, Rebecca (Todd) Long of Beaverdam, Rachel (John Dickman) Neuenschwander of Millington, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Summer Neuenschwander, Lucy Long, Jack Dickman, Jake Dickman, Hazel Long; and three sisters, Jean (Samuel) Weaver of Upper Sandusky, Jan (Alan) Valentine of Bluffton and Marilyn (David) Dickman of New Bremen.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Anna Donaldson.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Pastor Sam Wireman officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Beaverdam following the service. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home
Memorial contributions may be made to Beaverdam Church of Christ.
