Terry Strahm worked for A to Z Meats for 42+ years

Terry Lynn Strahm, 73, went to be with his Creator and Maker on Tuesday, February 2, 2022 at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Terry was born August 23, 1948 in Bluffton to Maurice and Ruth (Garmatter) Strahm. He married Linda Bender Strahm who survives.
Terry was a 1967 graduate of Bluffton High School and received a full ride scholarship to play football at Western New Mexico University in Silver City, New Mexico. Terry also served in the Army National Guard. He was a faithful Christian who loved to share the word of God with everyone he met. Terry was a proud supporter of many ministries. He worked at A to Z Meats in Bluffton for 42 years and came back to work in 2020. Terry was very proud of his employees and when he came back to work many of his faithful employees returned to work with him. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time outdoors and riding his scooter. Terry lived his life with great motivation, kindness and integrity. His family and friends feel so proud to have had this great person as their husband, father, grandfather, brother, leader, advisor and friend.
Terry is survived by his loving wife and high school sweetheart of 51 years, Linda Strahm; two daughters, Jennifer (Mike) Picklesimer and Jessica Strahm; four grandchildren, Jordin Basinger, Joshua Basinger, Noah Strahm, Victoria Strahm ; a sister, Debbie (Randy) Becker; three brothers, Rob Strahm, Randy (Linda) Strahm, Rich Strahm and his step-mother, June Strahm.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton with Pastor Geoff Eubank officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be Wednesday February 9, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Road Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
