Lucas Prichard to play for Yale
Lucas Prichard, son of Bluffton residents Pat and Kelly Prichard, has committed to play football at Yale University. Lucas is a senior at Bath High School where his father Pat teaches.
Prichard visited six schools before deciding on Yale. The Yale Bulldogs football program is part of the NCAA Division I and is one of the oldest in the world. It began competing in 1872.
Prichard was a third-team, all-Ohio selection in 2021 and first-team, all-Northwest District. He has earned offensive and defensive awards. He was co-defensive lineman of the year in the Western Buckeye League and second-team All-WBL as an offensive lineman.
