GriefShare will meet at Town Hall
The GriefShare weekly support group program will be introduced to Bluffton beginning at 7 p.m. on March 15, 2022 at Bluffton Town Hall, 154 N. Main St. The meetings are for those who have lost a loved one, whether that loss is recent or not. The non-denominational program features biblical concepts for healing.
Program description: “Often, family and friends want to help you, but don’t know how. That’s the reason for GriefShare. Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we’ve been in the same place. We will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future.”
There are three parts to the GriefShare experience:
Video Seminar: Encouraging information-packed videos featuring grief recovery experts.
Support Group: Small group discussion about the weekly video content
Workbook: Journaling and personal study exercises that reinforce the weekly session topics.
There will be 13 weekly GriefShare events beginning Thursday, March 17 and continuing to June 9, 2022. Meetings are from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the third floor of Bluffton Town Hall, 154 N. Main Street.
There is a $20 fee for the GriefShare workbook and scholarships are available. Please inform Pastor Dick Potter or the Ebenezer Mennonite church office if you are interested in attending to ensure there are enough workbooks. Each session is independent of the others so you can enter the group at any time.
The Bluffton program is sponsored by Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove Rd.. For more information contact Pastor Dick Potter at 419-358-8588 or [email protected].
