Agenda for March 21 meeting of Bluffton Board of Education

Resignation of Alice Basinger, athletic and tournament fund increases, 2023 band and choir trips

Bluffton Exempted Village Schools Board Of Education has released the following agenda items for the Regular Meeting at 7:30 p.m. on March 21 in the Bluffton Elementary Media Center. The full agenda is attached to this article.

The board is composed of President Larry Hoffman and members Brad Dailey, Roni Kaufman, Wes Klinger and Jeremy Scoles.

Approval of minutes and reports as well as February 28, 2022 treasurer's financial and investment reports as submitted.

2020-2021 Audit: The 2020-2021 Audit of the Bluffton Exempted Village School District for the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021 has been completed by Auditors of the State of Ohio. 

Fund Adjustments: 

• Athletic Tournament Fund to be increased $6,172.96 due to increased revenue.

• Athletic Fund to be increased $13,500.00 due to increased revenue.

 

CONTRACTS, ASSIGNMENTS, RESIGNATION & ETC.

  • Resignation: Alice Basinger Effective - May 31, 2022 or last day worked 
  • Substitute Teacher at $90.00 per day taught (2021-2022): Cheyann Schadewald 
  • Supplemental Contracts (2021-2022): Activity Volunteer High School Track, Employee Mason Warnimont 
  • Supplemental Contracts (2022-2023): Activity Head High School Cheerleader Head Boys Soccer, Employee Chase Koontz, Daniel Lee 

 

AGREEMENT

  • Satellite Program Standards & Maintenance Agreement: Bluffton Exempted Village School District to enter into an agreement with the Apollo Career Center to create and operate career-technical programs at Bluffton High School for the 2022-2023 school year. 

 

HIGH SCHOOL BAND AND CHOIR TRIP: 

  • High school band and choir trip to Disney World Orlando, Florida from March 8 to March 11, 2023.

  • Executive session to discuss employment of personnel.
