Bluffton boys fall to T-Birds

The Bluffton High School baseball team lost to visiting Lima Central Catholic 8-3 Thursday evening, April 7.
The Pirates fell to 1-5 with the non-league defeat.
Bluffton hosts Vanlue Saturday, and then they entertain Delphos Jefferson (1-5, 0-1 NWC) in the Pirate Northwest Conference opener Monday, April 11.
Jefferson lost to arch-rival Spencerville 3-2 in their league lidlifter Thursday evening.
Other NWC opening day results were Leipsic over Crestview 10-9, Lincolnview no-hit Ada 10-0 and Columbus Grove out-slugged Allen East 10-9.
