Sam Reichenbach served in the U.S. Air Force
Sam Herbert Reichenbach, 77, passed away April 12, 2022 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. Sam was born August 8, 1944 in Bluffton to the late Herbert and Dorothy (Agner) Reichenbach. On February 17, 1968 he married Diana Mathewson Reichenbach who survives.
Sam graduated from Bluffton High School and later served in the United States Air Force in Thailand during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a florist at the Little Red Barn in Bluffton and later at the Bo-Ka Flower Shop in Findlay. Sam was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Bluffton. He enjoyed flowers, painting, puzzles, word searches and cooking.
Survivors include his wife, Diana K. Reichenbach of Bluffton; a son, Todd (Tina) Reichenbach of Columbus Grove; four grandchildren, Cassandra "Cassie" (Chris Bloom) Reichenbach, Tori Reichenbach, Carisa Hosler, Christian Jakob "CJ” Hosler and a brother, Jack (Edie) Reichenbach of Bluffton.
Sam was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy D. Hosler.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
