University men's golf season wrapped up May 1
Playing in Harrison, OH, the Bluffton University men's golf team tied a bow on its 2021-22 season at the Heartland Conference Championship on Sunday, May 1, 2022. The Beavers took sixth place after putting up a 330 in the final round.
Freshman Hunter Jolliff (Elida) saved his best for last, shooting a 79 at Miami Whitewater Forest on Sunday. Clay Quellhorst (St. Marys/Memorial) followed with an 82, giving him a 248 for the tournament. Nathan Eberle (Grove City) and Spencer Daniels (Ashland) went 84 and 85, for weekend scores of 244 and 245, respectively. Senior Nick Offenburger (Mansfield/Lexington) rounded out the Bluffton scoring with a 91 in round three.
With finals kicking off on Monday, May 2, the season is complete and the Beavers will begin putting the work in for 2022-23.
