Wood chipping with volunteers on Village disc golf course
The Bluffton Disc Golf Association has announced that this coming weekend, it will be doing some wood chipping on the 18-hole course in the Village park.
"If you see us working, please jump around us to the next hole to avoid any safety concerns.
"If you would like to help out, we will be working from 8-5 Saturday and Sunday. Those interested in helping should bring closed toe shoes, gloves and safety glasses.
"Volunteers will not be allowed to run power equipment for liability reasons, and will be asked to help stack brush and bring it to the chipper operator. The forecast shows a chance of storms Saturday afternoon. Should that become a reality we will reschedule for a later date."
