Nancy Sue Steiner owned and operated Modern Cleaners
Nancy Sue Steiner, 86, passed away June 15, 2022 at the Hilty Memorial Home. Nancy was born May 18, 1936 in Lima to the late Mack and Florence (Reichenbach) Andrews. On July 29, 1956 she married David "Pete" Steiner who preceded her in death on February 24, 2013.
Nancy graduated from Lafayette High School. She had owned and operated Modern Cleaners, Bluffton with her son, Randy. Nancy also worked at Ex-Cello Corporation, Bluffton, Dr. Travis' office and also enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Sorgenbrecher Polka Band Club and the Orange Township Herb Club. Nancy was an avid hunter of mushrooms, enjoyed flower gardening, polka dancing, sewing, cooking, antiquing and McCoy Pottery. Her high school ambition was to be a red head and still was one today. She enjoyed helping raise and spend time with her grandchildren, Mack and Olivia. Nancy always enjoyed having a good time and was known to always look out for her family before herself.
Survivors include two children, Randall Steiner of Bluffton, Jennifer (Mike) Steiner-Burner of Bluffton; two grandchildren, Olivia and Mackaid Burner; a brother, William "Bill" (Shirley) Andrews of Findlay and a brother-in-law, Chuck Bishop of Findlay.
Nancy was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Sharon Steiner Bishop.
Services will begin at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 20, 2022 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be Monday, June 20, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church College Scholarship Fund.
