Man enters guilty plea in Medina; charged in pursuit that killed Bluffton officer
MEDINA, Ohio—On Wednesday, July 6 a change of plea was filed for Dante D. Tate in Medina County Common Pleas Court; he has pleaded guilty to charges of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer and receiving stolen property.
Tate was taken into custody in Elyria on March 31 after Officer Dominic Francis was struck and killed at Bluffton while attempting to deploy stop sticks on I-75.
Tate is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 8.
