Ice cream social celebration for 150th anniversary of Pleasant View UMC
Pleasant View United Methodist Church, Bluffton, will host an old-fashioned ice cream social from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23. The social is part of the church’s ongoing 150th anniversary celebration.
The menu includes shredded chicken sandwiches, homemade chicken and noodles, hot dogs, assorted chips, pies, cookies, ice cream, lemonade and water.
Donations accepted. The public is welcome.
The event will also include free face painting and animal balloons for the children. Pictures from Pleasant View Church’s history will be on display. The church is located at 300 Township Road 37, north of Bluffton.
