Ada's Aug. 27 Punt, Pass and Kick one of 41 U.S. competitions
The August 27 Punt, Pass and Kick competition hosted by the Ada Area Chamber of Commers as part of the Made in Ada Wilson Football Festival is one of 41 competitions sanctioned by PPKUSA.
- 11:30 a.m. - Registration opens
- 1:00 p.m. - Competition begins
The cost to participate? The competition is free and open to children ages 6-15. Participants compete in punt, pass and kick skills in the following age groups:
- 6/7 years old
- 8/9 years old
- 10/11 years old
- 12/13 years old
- 14/15 years old
The top two overall finishers as well as the top two individual skill finishers from each of the ten (10) age groups at the local competition will qualify to advance to a Regional competition if one is held. The first-place finishers for each age group at the Regional competition will qualify to advance to the National Championships, to be held in January 2023, if no Regional competition is held then all qualifiers from the Locals advance to the National Finals.

- Make walk up submission via cell phone
The Ada VFW is the event’s main sponsor, providing water and snacks. The event will be held at ONU’s Dial-Roberson Stadium, where competition will be announced on the facility's public address system. That morning guests can also enjoy an inter-squad scrimmage of the ONU football team.
