Block party will transform Vine Street on August 20
Greenhorn restaurant with co-host Eikenbary Landscape Company will host a block party beginning at 3 p.m. and continuing through the evening on Saturday, August 20. Vine Street will be closed to traffic and parking from Main St. to the alley.
The event will feature Detroit legend Stacey “Hotwaxx” Hale. Organizers describe Hale as "the godmother of house music." Local DJ Jon Humphrey will open the musical presentation.
The afternoon will feature free face painting and glitter tattoos, outdoor games, local artists and vendors including Lavender Hour and Amber Kear of Findlay.
The highlight of the afternoon will be a local celebrity dunk tank, with 100% of dunk tank proceeds benefiting Bluffton First Responders.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase both outside and inside Greenhorn at 112 Vine Street. Special items wil linclude craft mocktails and cocktails, as well as late night food.
The evening will feature music, local tarot readers and dancing.
