BHS tennis edges Wauseon

The Bluffton High School girls tennis team won all three singles matches to nip visiting Wauseon 3-2 Thursday evening, September 8.
With their second straight victory, the Pirates improved to 3-6.
Junior Brooke Camper of Bluffton cruised with a 6-0, 6-0 double bagel win over senior Emah Starkweather.
Sophomore Rory Youngpeter won at second singles over junior Lola Lavinder by a 6-2, 6-1 count.
Sophomore Ava McComey rallied to win a three-setter at third singles over sophomore Elise Eberle 5-7, 6-2, 6-0.
The Pirate second doubles duo of Leah Klinger and Kaleigh Coffman lost a tough third set tiebreaker 6-2, 2-6, 10-7.
Bluffton entertains Bath Thursday, September 14.
