Bluffton spikers sweep Hornets

RAWSON⎯The visiting Bluffton High School volleyball team swept Cory-Rawson in a non-league match Thursday evening, September 8.
The Lady Pirates improved to 6-2 with the 25-19, 25-7, 25-15 triumph.
- Ayla Grandey led the victors with 15 kills, four aces and one block
- Gracie Yarnell dished out 17 assists, mustered 12 digs, made one block and served two aces. The versatile Yarnell also hammered four kills
- Kendall Stackhouse contributed six kills
- Avery Talavinia came up with 15 digs and dealt a pair of aces
- Olivia Hobensack passed out five assists and served a pair of aces
- Olivia Siferd added one block
- Dyllan Worcester served two aces and Kaylee Kinsinger added a block
The Pirates also won the junior varsity match in straight sets.
Bluffton (4-1 road) plays at LCC (2-8) Tuesday, September 13. They then play at NWC foe Delphos Jefferson Thursday, Sept. 15.
