BHS boys soccer 2-0 victory over Allen East
Nolan Hoffman nets both Pirate goals

The Bluffton High School boys soccer squad shut out local rival Allen East 2-0 in a Northwest Conference match Monday evening, September 19.
The Pirates improved to 5-4-1 overall and 2-0 in the NWC with their fourth straight win. The Mustangs fell to 2-5-1 and 0-3 in the NWC with the defeat.
Nolan Hoffman netted both Pirate goals unassisted to pace Bluffton to victory. Hoffman scored at the 29-minute mark, and then tallied again at 37:34 to make it 2-0 at the half.
The game was scoreless over the final 42 minutes.
Pirate goalkeeper Alek Davis made four saves in goal. Mustang keeper Zane Newland stopped six Pirate shots.
The Pirates put 14 of 29 shots on goal, while AE got off six shots, five on goal.
Bluffton hosts Ada (4-2-2, 1-0-1 NWC) Monday, Sept. 26 in an attempt to win their 37th NWC match in a row.
