The Bluffton boys soccer team was voted the second seed at the 12-team Tiffin Columbian Div. III sectional/district draw.
As such, Northwest Conference champion Bluffton (8-6-1) received a first round bye. The Pirates will host the Oct. 19 winner between fifth seed Milan Edison and 12th seed Mansfield St. Peter's Saturday, Oct. 22 at noon in one sectional final.
That sectional final winner then advances to the Tiffin district semifinals October 26 at 7 p.m.
Liberty-Benton (9-3-3), the fourth seed, is the other high seed in the Bluffton half of the sectional. The Eagles also got a bye and will play the victor between Riverdale (5-8-2) and Old Fort in their sectional final.
If form holds, L-B would meet Bluffton Wednesday, Oct. 26 in the district semis at 7 p.m.
The district finals at Tiffin will be Saturday, Oct. 29 at 10 a.m. Huron is the top seed in the sectional/district, while Mansfield Christian is third.
