BHS girls soccer extends wins on Oct 13

The visiting Bluffton High School girls soccer team defeated non-league foe Upper Sandusky 3-0 Thursday night to register their eighth straight victory.
The regular-season ending win upped the Lady Pirate record to 14-2. US fell to 6-5-3 with the shutout defeat.
Pirate Sami Scoles scored the first goal on a Karson Hauenstein assist 18 minutes into the match.
Allison Diller found the back of the net in the 34th minute on a Riley Eachus pass to make it 2-0 by halftime.
Diller then scored her second goal in the 58th minute from an assist by Blair Utendorf.
The Pirate girls directed 13 of their 21 shots on goal. Upper got off just one shot which was stopped by Pirate goalkeeper Julia Mehaffie. Meanwhile, Ram keeper Ellee Hamm stopped 10 shots in goal.
