Open enrollment and kindergarten screening for 2023-2024 school year
Open Enrollment
The Bluffton Exempted Village School District is currently accepting applications from students interested in attending the school district through open enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year.
Students from any school district in Ohio may apply and enroll in Bluffton Schools tuition free. Students are admitted on a full-time basis only.
Applications are approved annually on a first come, first served basis and approval is subject to grade level enrollment and educational programs.
Anyone interested in a personal tour, a time can be scheduled that is convenient for you and your family including evenings or weekends. Please call the superintendent’s office at 419-358-5901 to schedule a tour or receive an application. In addition, you may obtain an application by visiting the Bluffton Schools website at www.blufftonschools.org under the forms link.
Kindergarten Registration
If you, or someone you know, has a child that will be turning 5 on our before August 1, 2023 you are invited to enroll them in kindergarten for the upcoming 2023-24 school year. To enroll please use this link:

Or visit the school website, https://www.blufftonschools.org/, go to the "Parents" tab and choose "Student Registration FinalForms."
Enrolling your student does not automatically schedule them for Kindergarten Screening which is scheduled for April 27-28. A form that you can use to sign up for an appointment will be sent out later this year.
If you live outside of the school district, please complete an open-enrollment application prior to registering your child. Out-of-district residents will not be enrolled until they have been approved for open-enrollment.
