Invitation to youth bike-pedestrian safety task force
The Allen County Bike and Pedestrian Task Force will be hosting a meeting for youth in Allen County who are interested in joining the Allen County Youth Bike and Pedestrian Task Force. This meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, at the Lima Council Chambers, 50 Town Square, Lima.
This will be a new group in the county. The task force will give youth an opportunity to share their ideas related to walking and biking in Allen County. Youth will also be encouraged to share any challenges they encounter in being active in Allen County. Service hours and service projects may also be available in the future. Youth input will help inform the Allen County Bike and Pedestrian Task Force on future projects.
Food will be provided at the meeting. For more information and to RSVP, contact Bri Buzard, Allen County Public Health Creating Healthy Communities Coordinator via email [email protected] or by calling 419-228-4457 ext. 168.
