Alfred Mueller Basinger was a farmer and truck driver
Alfred Mueller Basinger, 94, went home to be with his heavenly father on February 13, 2023 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay with his loving family at his side. Al was born December 3, 1928 in Bluffton to the late Marden and Minnie (Mueller) Basinger, who preceded him in death. On June 18, 1950 he married the love of his life, Joan Keller Basinger who survives.
Al graduated from Pandora High School. He was a farmer and was a driver for Mack Trucking in Findlay retiring at the age of 91. Al was a member of Pandora United Methodist Church. He enjoyed singing, playing guitar, yodeling, mushroom and coon hunting and especially playing bluegrass music. Al would stop anything he was doing to attend any of his family's music or sporting events. He loved singing around the campfire at the pond with his family and friends. As long as Al had his family and his guitar he was a very happy man.
