Steven Allen Nesler worked for NWO Beverage
Steven Allen Nesler, 72, passed away February 26, 2023, at the Manor at Greendale in Findlay.
Steven was born September 7, 1950 in Findlay to Raymond and Mary Ellen (Boehm) Nesler. He married the love of his life, Marsha (Montgomery) Nesler, on September 30, 1972; they shared 50 beautiful years of marriage.
Steven graduated from Cory-Rawson High School and retired from NWO Beverage (formerly Acme Bevearge) as a beverage delivery man. He was a member of Bluffton Trinity United Methodist Church and of the Teamsters Union. He was an avid collector and assisted in training harness race horses. He enjoyed attending county fairs and flea markets, along with deer and bird watching and gardening. He was a devoted son and a loving husband and father.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Ellen Nesler of Findlay; his wife, Marsha Nesler of Findlay; two children, Kyle A. (Katie Steiner) Nesler of Rawson and Emily G. (Theodore Lange) Nesler of South Burlington, VT; a sister, Rebecca (Keith) McClelland of Findlay; two step-grandchildren, Sophia and Nathan; and three brothers-in-law, Walter (Janny) Montgomery of Bluffton, Brian (Rita) Montgomery of Bluffton, and Mark Montgomery of Jenera; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father; Raymond Nesler.
Services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services--Bluffton with Pastor Gregg Fox to officiate the service. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, 2023, 4:00-8:00 p.m. and also one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
