Beaver women's golf recap for Polar Bear Easter Classic
HARROD--The Bluffton University women kicked off the Polar Bear Easter Classic with a 347 on Friday, April 7, 2023.
The Beavers were led by senior Haley Gill (Indianapolis, IN/Franklin Central) who is tied for 3rd overall with an 82.
Sophomores Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) and Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) followed with scores of 84 and 86, respectively. Shelby Stammen (Fort Recovery) carded a 95 and freshman Sarah Kroeger (Cincinnati/Mount Notre Dame) finished with a 102.
The two-time reigning HCAC Player of the Week, Cline holed out from 140 yards for an eagle on hole number one Friday afternoon!
Individuals Isabel Miller (Dayton/Centerville) and Cheyanne Bolden (Sidney) rounded out the Bluffton women with scores of 110 and 112.
Bluffton will be back at Colonial on Saturday for day two of the Polar Bear Easter Classic. A shotgun start at 9 a.m. is the plan for Saturday's egg hunt.
