Greetings, friends of Bluffton history.
Please plan to join us this Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. for the April monthly meeting of our soon to be named history group. Until further notice, mark it on your calendar, we’ll continue to meet on the third floor of Bluffton City Hall on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
If you have not yet voted for your choice of the group’s name, PLEASE DO SO BEFORE 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Your vote could make the difference in this group’s name. Please use the link HERE to cast your vote.
Wednesday’s meeting will share the work of the Naming Subcommittee, and the Bylaws Subcommittee will report on their progress, as well. Membership and dues costs will be discussed and we are seeking interested people to help with the committee which will seek non-profit 501 (c)3 status for this group.
Additionally, there will be a discussion of the Treasurer’s position and reviews from those who recently visited the Putnam County Museum in Kalida. Keith Sommer will present a program, “Telephone and Lock Displays” to conclude the evening.
Hoping to see you Wednesday night at City Hall.
