Loverta White worked for Triplett Corporation
Loverta White, 91, passed away May 12, 2023 at her residence. Loverta was born July 4, 1931 in Sharp Chapel, Tennessee to the late Dewey and Louadis (Pierce) Wilson. On June 12, 1972 she married Leroy White who preceded her in death on October 30, 1983.
Loverta was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked for Triplett Corporation in Bluffton before retiring in 1988. Loverta loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking, reading, bingo, puzzle books, gardening and a good game of Skip-Bo and Rummy.
Survivors include ten children, Jack Welch of Beaverdam, Harold (Denise) Welch of Lima, Richard (Sherry) Welch of Bluffton, Pete (Brenda) Welch of Lima, Perry (Sherri) Welch of Charlotte, North Carolina, Rex (Hope) Welch of Wapakoneta, Brenda (Paul) Strunk of Dayton, Ohio, Sue (Jim) Kinn of Bluffton, Becky Foust of Bluffton, LeeAnn White of Bluffton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Vic (Darlene) Wilson and Bill Wilson both of Tennessee and a sister, Dallas Hinkle of Loveland, Ohio.
Loverta was preceded in death by a son, Jim Welch; three brothers, Wayne Wilson, Alfred Wilson, Eugene Wilson and a sister, Della Sargent
Loverta's memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023 at the funeral home.
